Fear and confidence were filled within us. I was feeling sleepy still. I woke up at 10.30 while others woke up at 7+. The match was at 11am. I walked in slowly with all my equipment feeling drowsy, eating my MARKS & SPENCER  redcurrent puffs. It was superb. No matter how many boxes i eat, it would still taste great. Out of curiosity, I went into the court area. The place where St Hilda's primary 2008 top scorer died after playing badminton. Sad guy. Studied so hard and his life ended like this. Surprisingly, nothing different nor special. It was just like every other day. people playing badminton. I expected people to be like scared as there might be his spirit left there or something. Maybe i just watch too much television. Putting aside every distraction, i started to think about the game. We were gonna play against a team called 'Tyreso Blue Titans' They were the 2nd team from the top. Many of my teammate looked so scared. All their faces showed fear. I was still so tired, munching on my biscuit, i walked up to the shop and bought a Ribena and Green Tea. I quickly changed as Mr Amir seemed really furious. He gave us a talk about the game and how we should be playing. Unfortunately, i wasn't captain for that match. We warmed up and then made our way into the court. We did simple drills and then Mr Amir talked to us again, said that whatever we do, we should give our best. Don't leave the game in regret that you didn't do your best. We did a cheer and then started off with the first line. We managed the game well till the last period. The score was 2-2. We had a chance of winning. Halim scored the 3rd goal. We cheered like crazy people! There was 1 minute 40 secs more. We persevered through it. I felt pain every where. I couldn't take it anymore, But when Mr Amir and teammates kept encouraging ask to hang on, we found the will to do so. But for me, I didn't have stitches. I just felt really hungry! Mr Amir laughed and said, you did a good job and then offered me raisins. It was disgusting! Well, A job well done to the team, and to our coach Mr Amir for his hard work. Pictures and Videos are in the the next Post.~~~~

This is my last post guys. Hope you have enjoyed what you've seen. Thanks.

A new word Mr Maran taught us today. I Don't think i remember the                                                                meaning of it.  Will come in more detail later.
Today was funny! When Mr Low, our principal went on stage, he suddenly walked down from the other side. Then every started clapping in hope of getting half day today or a full day tomorrow. Then Mr Maran was like, Are you clapping for me? We all laughed. After all administrative matters, the principal came on stage and finally started to talk. He talked about the help of both students and teachers for their help in making class of 2008 work and achieving an average of 10.5 points. Mr Low dismissed us at 1.05pm and during 28 january, he also gave us a full day off to rest. How thoughtful. When we went back to class, we had our Mother Tongue classes. When it ended, it was English lesson. Our teacher, Mr Maran taught us about IQ, Intellegence Quotient and EQ, Emotional Quotient. Example, whats the use of being so smart when you behave like a monkey? Given by Mr Maran. Oh ya, not forgetting just now during his lesson. He asked what Prince's name was as he said a key word. When Mr Maran heard Prince, he started laughing like he was under laughing gas. It was for quite some time. Laughed and laughed and laughed until the whole class started laughing too. Was the name Prince a rare name? He said he has heard and known of funny names but have never heard of Prince. I LOVE ENGLISH LESSONS! So far, they're the most fun lessons. After that was geog. Ms Ria, a new teacher from India. The first thing when she saw us, she would just scold us till she felt good. But, no less, we took it in and let it out. We still had to study for the upcoming exams. We thought that after geography, we had one more lesson of math and then we could leave for lunch and then 1.05 we could go home. But Mr Pang just had to keep us back. It was obvious majority were unhappy. After school, i went to meet Mr Amir for our Physical Training. We did 11 laps of climbing up to the 7th floor, across the corridor and then down again and then cross corridor again. For 11 times. After each round, we had to do a form of exercise. After that, I went to ParkWay with Ezra and Matthew. We went around finding things for Ezra and then headed back home. When i reached home, all i did was play floorball in the house. Maybe thats the best thing i enjoy doing alone. Just playing around with the floorball ball. Well guys, This is my second last post.

Monday has always been the longest and busiest day of the week. Before that, today i was so shocked. I waited for Jia Liang, my classmate at the Pasir Ris Mrt Station control station. He arrived at 6.31am when we agreed on 6.30am. But its okay. We met Chee Yong, another classmate and my floorball teammate, at the platform waiting for us. We went in the train together and started talking about the O level results coming out today. He kept saying that one of his Track and Field seniors could still joke about it. Shouldn't he be anxious and nervous? Weird. We missed the 6.50am 196 bus and has to wait till 7 for another bus. We were so scared. We didn't want to be late and had to see the Operation Manager, Mr Chia, A mixture of kindness and furiousness. But he's funny too. We kept looking at our watches and prayed for us to reach before the bell rung. We alighted at 7.22am, and ran as fast as our legs could carry us. We had to stop at the Zebra Crossing as the prefects helped us stop traffic to ensure our safety. We asked them to hurry as we didn't want to be late. When they stopped the traffic, we reached safely and felt relieved as we reached at 7.24am. Phew! what a close shave. This was the first time i reached school at 7.20-7.25.~~~~~

Back to the busiest day of the week. After assembly and all, we went back to class and had our lessons as per normal.  By saying normal, it was only for Mondays. We end at 4pm! Thats is seriously very very very, super late. At 11.45, We heard the chyme to alert us that an announcement was coming. It was the Principal. He said, 'All classes will be dismissed at 1.45pm to be able to watch the O level release of marks and share the joy with them'. That followed with a loud cheer which could be heard all over the school. Everyone shouted for joy. We were the most blessed. Other Victorians would end at 2.15 which is only 30 mins earlier. Well, we ended at 4pm which is 2hrs and 15mins earlier! After Mother Tongue periods, we left. We had to meet Mr Amir as our Science teacher, email-ed Mr Amir saying that some of our classmates were making lots of noises in class, Disturbing the rest. We had to listen to his lecture for like, close to 20 mins. Sit till backside pain already! Never mind about that. I should be grateful it was over. I went towards the hall and watch a little bit of the releasing of results. I eventually left as it was so stuffy and warm at the gallery. I went back down to the P.E Department to challenge Yusof, my floorball junior 'AirHook' which is a floorball skill. I did 9 at first, then he beat me with 11 revolutions. Then i beat him again with 13 revolutions.

An Example of AirHook. Done by, Gerald and
                                                                                                                                   Ak Mal. ENJOY!~

Seniors were definately more skilled. No doubt about that! I tried to be a goal keeper too. I wore Ezra's goalkeeping attire and was not bad actually. I managed to save quite a number of shots. Maybe this is just natural talent ; D I then went for hockey training. Wow, being captain isn;t just for fun, I had to organize the team, take charge of this and that. Well, i'll get used to it. We played a match from 3-5 pm C against B division. The final score was 0-7. We knew that was coming. After hockey, we went for floorball training. Mr Amir looked so furious. But half-way through, he loosened up and started to joke, smile and laugh. Mr Fred came too. So many things took place in school today yea? It was about 7 when everything ended. I totally forgot i had Science tuition at 7.30 pm till one of my teammate kept complained that he had too many. I quickly called my mother and asked her to come and fetch me. She scolded me for being irresponsible and for wasting time. But, in fact, scolding me was wasting more time. I rushed off to meet her outside the school. She drove like how kids drove those car games in the arcade. RECKLESSLY! (no offence to addicted arcade people) She sped, weaved in and out of cars. Super SCARY! I reached White Sands Mall at 7.29 pm. I went up and managed to reach on time. The teacher and his lesson were super extremly boring. he was like reading from the paper and then said word for word from the paper and said it to us. It was as if we couldn't read for ourselves. Suddenly, a soft chyme went. It was 9 pm! Finally tuition was over. I was so relieved. I called my mother and asked if there was food at home. She replied no and i was overjoyed. I could go order Burger King and claim the money back from her late. How smart am i? Well, i hope through this economic crisis, my parents jobs wont be affected but safe and secured so i could still enjoy these privileges which i am enjoying now. Double Mushroom Swiss is the BEST in Burger King! TRY IT!~

Today was quite different from other Sundays. Usually, all my sundays were like following a time table. 10am wake up. 10.30 leave how to go church. 11-1 at church. 1-1.30 go back home. Waste time, Waste time, Waste time till 6.30 and then buy dinner, eat, then bathe, go sleep. But today was different for the after church part. we left church for Tampines mall. And ate Swensens! I forgot it was my father's birthday. opps.( don't tell him) haha. Happy Birthday my OLD MAN! you're 44 this year! hehe, i'm so mean. I ate Chicken Baked Rice. They took so long to serve it! i waited for like an hour -.- and when the food came, it was all so dried up. i was furious..i waited so long for lousy food. Never mind!, i'm a forgiving person. i just ate my food suffering quietly. After eating, my mother asked if i needed Chinese New Year clothing. I was so shocked! Usually, she would give her 'famous' answers, Why do you need it? Its too expensive! Its not important! Save money and buy it yourself!< These are the famous answers. But today, she bought me things which total costs was $137 and she didn't complain like she always did. What an improvement. Or was it she got a bonus for her pay? Why bother asking? As long i get it can already. Those are the moments i enjoy with family. SHOPPING!!~ When i reached home, i went to shower and then watched American Idol Season 7 from 5pm till 11pm. David Archuleta should have WON!! Simon Cowell is the meanest person you could ever meet but maybe funny too ; D When it ended, my backside was hurting badly. i could walk straight. It was so stupid. I was practically moaning. Well, maybe thats why people tell me not to watch television for too long. Annoyingly True..I hate it when others say that i'm wrong. bummer..

Hey Guys! My name is Gerald and i'm from Victoria School! Class 2f! This is my first time making this  kind of thing. I totally have no experience.  Well, all i know is i have tried my best to set up this blog for my English Assignment. Please leave a comments or ways of improvements in the chatbox. Hope you Enjoy reading this blog~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yesterday was so funny. We had to run 2.4km because Mr Amir said that just in case we were injured representing school, at least they had a good timing to take. We wanted to slack as we were all lazy. we all walked at the first part but after awhile, we decided to run. But for a few of our classmates, they didn't want to run so they walked the whole way. They came in at around 18 minutes plus. Mr Amir was furious as he already asked us to run our best. He punished them with a 1000 burpies. Is that a bit too much? Maybe for Mr Amir it was a small amount, considered giving them chance. Most of them had a soccer match in the afternoon. Maybe Mr Amir didn't know about it? Well, the soccer match ended in a draw. Speaking of draw, enough of yesterday. Lets talk about today!~~~~~

Today was beyond description. I had a floorball match today. I wore slippers to Tampines sports hall where the match was held. i arrived at 10.45 and was surprised to see no one. i walk towards the court and saw 3 of my teammates. I didn't realise that Mr Amir was sitting right there! iI ran as fast as i could out of the hall as i was wearing slippers and he would confiscate them. Many of us thought that we were gonna lose for the 5th time in a row. sad isn't it? I was made captain for that match again. I was so elated. Soon after, Mr Amir, the floorball coach and my form teacher told me that i was going to be hockey captain. i was even more elated!
We warmed up and all, and made our way in. Anxiety filled the air. The other team was bigger in size and faster then us. But we didn't worry. We were Victorians. We'll find a way to counter it. We played hard and manage to score 2 goals while the other team had 3 goals. 1 minute left. We tried our very best using our basics to perfection with positive winning attitude and Venu scored the 3rd goal to even the odds. The game ended with a draw but we didn't feel sad, we manage to end a match without losing. haha. The lady sitting at the scoreboard, asked one of the teammate if i was gay! she said cause i wore a pink shirt..does wearing a pink shirt mean i'm gay? It was so unusual. No one, and i repeat, NO ONE! Has ever asked me that. Shocker.
